I am in the same boat. No 485 receipts for me or my wife. Got EAD and AP receipts only for myself. 485 filled at NSC on July 2nd. EAD and AP also filled at NSC but on Aug 15, 2007. I think NSC is still data entering July 2nd cases.

I would agree that he should consult with an attorney. However, I am not sure if he needs to be in the country to file the 485. I am not sure about the medical though.

I can't think of anything other than getting the company immigration lawyer's help in this case.
On another note, all of here with pending GC processes, should be ready to face the prospect of going back to our home countries. "Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst".

He had received an RFE on I140 in October 2007 about Employment status and he had submitted all the required evidence. He also is in the same company that filed his labor. The only change he ever made is moving to a new place in the same city. Does anyone have a similar experience? What needs to be done apart from consulting a good immigration attorney? Your advice will be much appreciated.

My case was approved yesterday. EB3/NSC - India - PD June 02 - RD April 04.

Last week out of a project..my desi consultancy sent me a termination notice(on H1 with this guy). 485 filed in July 2007. got EAD. I am looking for a project right now. Planning to join on EAD and look for a job.

How about Lawyers reducing their fees?
We are all paying so much to lawyers and that fees is much higher than what USCIS charges.
Why can't lawyers run a campaign or post on their blogs to reduce their fees.

You will get your GC before your AP and EAD for sure. You missed the 2 year EAD and AP man. ;)

I had 1 year contract for employment and I was not paid regularly. Also they were deducting money for health insurance which I didnot receive.
So I left company and they didnot pay me money. I had one year contract or 10000 USD fine.
iI donot work for them since 2005. I have time sheet signed by client and email from vendor to confirm that they paid my money to employer.
Can i go to labor and complain ? Will they ask me to pay back 10k ?

I am in the same boat. I believe you can go ahead and start your full time study, Now I don't think your wife's case is pending based on your work, since you already got your GC.
Even in the worst case you can sponsor your wife with your GC status. I was kidding my wife that I become UC and sponsor her.

If you cant participate in every action item, atleast contribute dollars, united we stand help achieve our goals.

First apply for H4 asap. It is simple to file H4 extension. I also forgot to file extension for my wife. I realized after a month and applied. luckily her h4 was approved. my attorney told if we dont get the extension within 180 days she has to leave the country and get stamped. Any way talk to attorney. apply for extension and wait until another 3 months.if you dont get it then leave the country and come back.
